Classroom Visits

A member of TigerFlight can visit your classroom and inspire your students to become Pilots in Command of their own lives. The pilot in command (PIC) of an aircraft is the person aboard the aircraft who is ultimately responsible for its operation and safety during all flight operations. We use this idea as a metaphor for believing in oneself and reaching for your dreams.

Here’s a taste of what the TigerFlight member will tell your students:

If your belief in yourself is high, your dream will be a big one. The size of your dream will dictate the goal you set. As you move towards your goal and you’re getting the positive results you expect, your belief in yourself will increase. With that increase in belief in yourself, the dream will get even bigger! The size and level of your goals will increase and your results will be even more positive and again your belief in yourself will heighten even more. This is the perpetual success machine!

When I speak to the word, “Dream”, I am not talking about those dreams you have when you are asleep. What I am speaking of is that place you want to be in your life. For me it was the dream of being a pilot. The day you catch that dream, you will never forget. It is that day when you know, all the way down to your soul, what you want to do with this gift called life. It can be one of the most important days of your life.

A goal is a “dream with a deadline.” For example “to become a teacher.” Just take the child’s present age and add the number of years of training required to become a teacher. Now you have the goal date.

Regardless of what your dream is, there is a person who has achieved that dream and has already reached that goal. Why not talk with your doctor, your teacher, or any other professional, and ask them how they reached their goal and achieved their dream?
